Q&A

Why did one install a “breaking point” in the screwdrivers?

As a safety measure, to ensure that the head of the screw is not damaged when too much strength is exerted on the screwdriver as in the case of a screw that might be a half measure too large. The screwdriver will break before one can break the screw, allowing to still remove the screw.

Can one put 2 Acutrak screws parallel beside each other and allow pressure on both?

Yes, if one inserts them simultaneously and gives them simultaneously a number of turns so that they both receive pressure.

Why can the fracture cover the full length of the screw?

Because the screw wire runs the complete length of the screw and causing smaller convolutions towards the end of the screw. This is how the Acutrack brings about compression.
