Unicap means a revolutionary improvement in the orthopedic world. It’s a brand-new Arthroscopic-assisted Knee Resurfacing (AKR) method for the medial and lateral knee compartment and gives the active 45+er with knee and joint problems the solution to stay active and do exercise, without undergoing a major surgical operation.

Thanks to Unicap, the patient can move and do exercise after the surgical intervention and rehabilitation period, without dealing with any discomfort. Therefore the Unicap goes further than the already existing methods: the meniscus and a maximum of articular cartilage are retained and the inlay components are adjusted to the anatomy of the patient. In this way a maximum quantity of bone is preserved, which is important for possible future major surgical operations.
